Rowdy Roddy Piper

Hell Comes to Frogtown. He was remarkably believable in that very odd movie, by which he delivered his lines like a real person, and made you believe he was really feeling the emotions he was portraying. Whatever you can say about him, "wooden' isn't something I'd go to.

Oh, Mr. Loaf is completely awesome. Hell, he was fun and believable in Spice World, for goodness' sake. And one of the best things about Bloodrayne, if I'm remembering correctly.

You are. He and Billy Zane were the only cast members who appeared to A) understand exactly what kind of movie they were in, and B) have any fun at all performing in it. Of course, they both got to exit the movie early, which might explain their bonhomie; everyone else was stuck there for the long haul, including the audience.

I'm sure the Romanian hookers helped. He is a rock-and-roller, after all.

Second on Roddy Piper. Totally professional and solid B actor.

Lacey Chabert: The Lost in Space movie sucked for a lot of reasons, but not quite because of her performance as Penny. Nevertheless, she was definitely one of the bright spots in the underrated Daddy Day Care, which I have come, quite against my will, to kind of like. And I found her performance in Mean Girls as the self-esteem challenged Yes-Girl. I have yet to see her in a movie where I didn't care for her performance, even though she's been relegated these days to animation voice-overs and MMMMtime movies.
