Why haven't we ever gotten a Christmas special starring a Kaiju? Maybe along the lines of How the Kaiju Stole (stomped and burned) Christmas. I could totally see Godzilla tying reindeer horns to Mothra. Or Mechagodzilla learning the true meaning of Christmas and nuking Macy's.

I actually went looking on YouTube for a Godzilla Christmas Special and, unfortunately, this is the best of the bunch. Honestly. I apologize in advance for wasting 31 seconds of your life.

Ends with a fight between Kong and the Abominable Snowman from Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer. Kong would chuck him off the Empire State Building but then is shocked to discover that Bumbles bounce.

It now occurs to me that, yes, I would like a kaiju movie that prominently features Bumbles, the giant Abominable Snowman from Rudolph, the Red Nosed Reindeer.

Whereupon, in a fit of pique, he gives bumble the finger, the way he did to an anonymous kaiju in another notorious film.

We have one. Rare Exports is a Norwegian movie about dangerously murderous naked Santa Helpers and a giant Santa Claus that stands about two and half to three stories tall.

But in the realm of traditional kaiju, I would love a Christmas-y return of the Ymir in a sequel to 20 Million Miles to Earth. In this, a space crew returns to Venus and finds a live Ymir. They return with it to the Earth. When it grows and people fear it, nice scientists find a way to calm the Ymir and return it to Venus where the Ymir's family awaits it for the holidays.
