Anyone catch the new commmercial spot for a candy-apple red Hummer H3? The one with "Love is Strange" in the background, with the Iron Giant clone getting... well...
You can catch two versions of the ad whilst exploring Hummer.Com's Flash-Player requiring site (second window, either the "See the new TV Spot" link on the bottom or "Hummer World" in the toolbar's upper right followed by "TV Commercials") or you can just catch a Quicktime version of the minute-long spot right here, friends.
I can't believe I may be the first to write about this, especially since it's listed in this TV-blog entry allegedly from over a month ago, unless that's some kind of TV/advertising insider reporting. If that's not the case, the ad's either been strategically placed so we've all missed it, or some of this board's 'loyal' TV viewers aren't pulling their weight. :glare:

Trust me, that commercial was clever--this one was the kind of thing you'd show to children who had been bad...
Personally, if I already didn't think Hummers were ugly, gas-guzzling penis replacements the fact that they apparently come out of the cloaca of a giant furry lizard thingy would be enough to dissuade me from EVER BUYING ONE.
