The B-Movie Message Board
In order to keep the B-Movie Message Board running, we allow our members the opportunity to purchase premium memberships, which help defray the costs of the board's operation. The screen names of all contributing members are listed on the BMMB welcome page.

Member sponsorship is voluntary. Premium members enjoy a wider range of privileges on the board and we display badges of their membership under their user names in recognition of their generosity. During our "pledge drive" (February through March), members are offered additional gifts in addition to these privileges and recognition as an incentive.

All premium memberships are subject to certain terms and conditions. All proceeds from sponsored memberships go towards the maintenance and expansion of the B-Movie Message Board.

The three tiers of membership are as follows:
Illudium Members ($12 annually): Illudium members display the blue Illudium badge and are allowed to pick custom member titles in lieu of the regular member titles (e.g. "Kenny" and "Godzilla"), which are earned by contributing to conversations on the message board. (Members who were issued custom titles prior to the introduction of sponsored memberships may keep them, but if they want to change them, they must become an Illudium member or higher.)

This level is perfect for those budget-minded BMMB members who want to show their support.
Explodium Members ($25 annually): Explodium members wear the silver Explodium badge. Like Illudium members, they may choose their own member titles. In addition, Explodium members also have the ability to create polls on the message board in which all members may vote.

During the pledge drive period ending March 31, 2008, Explodium members will receive a b-movie DVD selected at random from the catalog of Retroflicks.com.
Solarmanite Members ($50 annually): Solarmanite members are identified by the gold Solarmanite badge. Solarmanite members enjoy all the privileges of Explodium members -- custom member titles, and the ability to create polls. As an added perk, Solarmanite members may upload their own custom avatars to the board (without the help of a moderator). Badmoviezone.com e-mail addresses are no longer offered as a default, but if you're a Solarmanite member and you really really want one something can be arranged.
